PK-5

Thinking creatively and having artistic perspective drives the experiences of our youngest artists in our lower school art classes. The Lower School art curriculum fosters curiosity about materials and process. Our Lower School art teachers encourage students to develop their own artistic talents using a variety of materials such as oil pastels, paint, clay, recycled materials and fibers, to help bring out their creativity.

Grade 6-12

Art is available for students at the middle and upper school levels on an exploratory/elective basis.  Visual art classes at the middle and upper schools allow students the opportunity to review the elements and principles of art and design through a study of varying styles including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Students explore and learn about a variety of media as well as become familiar with pivotal moments in art history.
