The Arts
Fuqua School recognizes the arts as a vital part of a well-rounded education and offers students the opportunity to participate in theater, band, and visual art from prekindergarten through twelfth grade. The arts are often integrated into the broader curriculum to enrich the learning experience across disciplines. In visual art, students explore a wide range of media, including ceramics, paint, drawing materials, cut and worn glass, and various craft materials. Lower School students attend weekly art classes, while Upper School students have access to advanced courses, independent studio work, and film studies. Band and theater programs also offer students valuable opportunities for creative expression, collaboration, and performance.
